HARDWARE FOR INTERNET ACCESS

1. ROUTER


A computer networking device that sends data packets through a network or the Internet to the destination, through a process known as routing. The process of routing occurs at layer 3 (network layer such as the Internet Protocol) stack of the OSI seven-layer protocol.


2. SOUND CARD


A component contained in a PC that served to support the voice functions in a multimedia PC.


3. MODEM


Modulation demodulation. Generally this tool is used to convert analog signals to digital and vice versa. for example, to connect between two computers via dial-up using a phone line to access data over the network or the Internet.
